A useful tool should leave you with something useful.
Not another account, another dashboard, or another thing to check. Made for Paper is a small collection of browser tools whose output is a sheet of paper.
Why paper
Digital calendars are excellent at reminding you and poor at showing you. A month on a wall is legible from across the room, works during a power cut, never asks for a password, and holds a note scribbled in the corner of the fourteenth. Plenty of people want both, and the tooling for the paper half has been neglected.
So the design constraint here runs backwards from most software: the screen is not the product. The screen is where you configure the product. What comes out of the printer is the thing you actually keep.
What that changes
- Free tools, no account. The calendars, planners, and puzzles are free to use without an email address, login, subscription, or watermark. We also offer a separate custom activity pack service for centers that want a finished pack prepared for them.
- Nothing uploaded. Calendars are generated in your browser. If you import an .ics file, it is parsed in the tab you opened it in and never sent anywhere. See the privacy page for specifics.
- Print is the primary view. Every page has a print stylesheet written by hand, not inherited by accident. Controls and navigation disappear; the grid gets the whole sheet.
- Dates you can audit. Holiday and business-day rules are documented on the methodology page rather than buried in code, because a calendar you cannot check is a calendar you cannot trust.
What is here now
Printable year calendars, a monthly calendar studio with holidays and local .ics import, a weekly planner, and a business day calculator. Calendars are where the collection starts, not where the idea ends — the same constraints apply to anything whose natural output is a printed page.
Corrections welcome
If a date is wrong, a page prints badly, or a holiday rule does not match your jurisdiction, that is worth knowing about. Write to hello@madeforpaper.com — the contact page lists what to include so the problem can be reproduced.
