How many words are in each puzzle?
Twenty, in a 15 by 15 grid, hidden in all eight directions — across, down, both diagonals, and each of those backwards.
Do the puzzles come with answers?
Yes. The second page of every PDF marks each word where it runs, using a translucent capsule rather than a solid strike so overlapping words stay readable.
How do you know every word is really in the grid?
Because it is verified. After the grid is built, each word is read back from the exact position the answer key records, letter by letter. A puzzle whose key pointed at the wrong place would fail that check and never be published.
Are these suitable for children?
The animal and food puzzles use common words and suit most primary-age children. Nature and space use longer vocabulary and suit older solvers.
