What makes these easy

Every cell can be filled by looking at what is already there — scanning a row, a column, or a box until only one number fits. No guessing, no notation, no advanced patterns.

Every puzzle has exactly one solution

This is the part most free sudoku sheets get wrong. Puzzles here are built by removing clues from a completed grid one at a time and re-solving after every removal — if a clue’s absence would allow a second solution, it is put back. The answer key is the grid the puzzle was carved from, so it cannot disagree with the puzzle.

Other difficulties

Common questions

How hard are these easy sudoku puzzles?
Every cell can be filled by looking at what is already there — scanning a row, a column, or a box until only one number fits. No guessing, no notation, no advanced patterns. Each of the 12 puzzles in this set starts from about 40 given numbers.
Does every puzzle have only one solution?
Yes, and that is checked rather than assumed. Clues are removed one at a time, and after each removal the puzzle is re-solved to confirm exactly one solution remains. If a removal would create a second solution, the clue goes back. A puzzle with two answers is not a harder puzzle — it is a broken one.
Is there an answer key?
Yes. The last two pages of the PDF hold all 12 solutions, six to a page.
Do I need to guess?
Never. Every puzzle here is solvable by logic alone. If you find yourself guessing, there is a deduction still available somewhere on the grid.
Are these the same puzzles every time?
Yes. Each puzzle is generated from a fixed seed, so the file you download today is the same one you would download next year — which means a printed answer key never stops matching its puzzles.

Printing

The PDF is already sized for Letter and A4 — one puzzle per page, large enough to write numbers in comfortably. Print in portrait at 100% scale. The print guide covers the settings that cause most problems, and there are more free printable templates if you want something to write on rather than solve.
