Forty questions per table, in a jumbled order.
A practice worksheet for each times table from two to twelve, with forty questions per sheet in a deliberately jumbled order so the answers cannot be reached by counting up, plus an answer key on the second page.
What it is for
- Daily practice on one table at a time
- Homework with a ready-made answer key
- Targeting the specific table a blank grid showed as weak
- Timed drills
Common questions
Why are the questions in a jumbled order?
Because in order they are not a test. Given 6×1, 6×2, 6×3 in sequence, a child can add six each time and never recall a single fact. Jumbling forces actual retrieval, which is the thing being practised.
Do the worksheets include division?
Every sheet mixes both directions — 7 × 6 and also 42 ÷ 6 — because knowing a times table means knowing it both ways round.
Do the questions change if I print it again?
No. Each sheet is generated from a fixed seed, so a class set printed today matches one printed next term, and the answer key never drifts.
